Disaster Preparedness

Many areas of the world where MAI partners with local communities are at high risk of natural disasters.  Typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and flooding can devastate wide regions and impact thousands of people.  As communities strengthen through the CHE strategy, they are able to better prepare for potential disasters, to proactively develop key relationships with emergency responders and support networks, and to recover through greater resilience.
